AUFA In The Community

While the football season took its summer break, the AUFA has still been busy out and about in the community.

The Summer camps have just ended but were very popular with all age groups, with coaching skills  and youth development very much at the forefront of each module.

They were held at  Girvan, Pro Soccer, Muirhead, Carrick, Coylton, Dundonald and Pro Soccer and due to the popularity of these events more are being planned in the future. Keep your eye on the AUFA website for details.

The term time programme is also now up and running and is scheduled to run from August until October 2010. The schemes run at the following venues:  Coylton, Muirhead, Mossblown, and Dundonald.

If you or your kids are interested in either of the above events or just want more information visit the website www.ayrunitedfootballacademy.co.uk or contact shaun@ayrunitedfc.co.uk about either of the two programmes above.

Ayr United Football Academy are also pleased to announce that through its partnership with the Scottish FA, that they are operating a Football Coach Education Programme for all existing and potential coaches. Any coach or potential coach who is 16 years or above can apply for the course.
The course is the first level on the Coaching Youth Footballers Pathway with each participant receiving a DVD, Booklet and Certificate of Participation.
Any person wishing to book a place can simply contact David White on david@ayrunitedfc.co.uk or phone 01292 263435.

The Football Academy are also looking for match day reporters to help build a recognition for the setup and the players. All it involves is turning up one of the matches, taking a few notes of key moments, goal scorers, team lineup and a couple of photos on your phone or camera.

Most matches are held at Belmont Academy, Prestwick Academy or Carrick Academy and are free to watch. AUFA are a not for profit charity organisation and therefore this post is unpaid but what you get in return is the opportunity to watch the generations of tomorrow play some tremendous football and the knowledge that what you do is for the benefit of these guys, which ultimately benefits the full squad when these players mature. Contact 01292 263435 or email cc333@live.co.uk or mahoehay@rocketmail.com for more details.

The Ayr United Football Academy are a non profit organisation and as such always welcome new donations and sponsers.
