 16s Fire a Treble Against Glenafton 17s

Sunday 8th August saw the under 16 side play their opening pre season game as 16s and they turned in a very positive display.

The game proved to be a good workout for the Ayr side with a very high tempo game being played throughout and it was Ayr who opened the scoring when a corner on the right from Kelly was superbly smashed home by Sands.

The 2nd half saw Ayr raise their game and start to impose their passing game upon their Ayrshire counterparts. From this possession both Fraser & Slooves scored debut goals for Ayr.

Coach Davie White said, “ We were delighted with the application from all the players, they showed good discipline and attitude and the shape of the team looked very good today, every one is looking forward to the forthcoming games in the upcoming season."
