14s Eightsome Reel
Ayr started this match with a good attitude and quickly managed a well balanced shape to prevent Alloa from playing any type of a passing game.
With this bright start, Ayr scored early on in the first period thanks to the excellent finishing of Sean Mackenzie and the team went from strength to strength, scoring another two goals with Sean Mackenzie getting his second and Aidan Connor also bagging one.
Ayr took their foot off the pedal at the start of the second period and conceded early from a corner, but after building some momentum, they got their passing game going again with the players keeping possession well and soon managed some good passages of play. With this excellent style of play, the Ayr team soon scored a further two goals with some excellent finishing from Ryan Wilson.
To round the match off, Ayr's Sean Mackenzie and Ryan Wilson combined well to score a further two goals to round of an competent performance all round for the young Ayr side which was marshalled well by Declan Adams, who captained the side from the centre of the park in their first outing of the season.
