A newly-released video of government-sanctioned crackdown of protests in Bahrain shows national and Saudi forces attacking people's vehicles.
The footage featured regime troops' causing damage to the cars and slashing the tires. Wearing masks, the gunmen were shown shattering the windows and taking away the contents.
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have dispatched armed forces to Bahrain to assist Manama's attacks on the popular revolution it has been facing since February 14.
The video showed government troops throwing stones at the vehicles, breaking the doors and throwing the contents outside.
Demonstrators in the Shia-majority Persian Gulf demand the ouster of the 230-year-old Sunni-led monarchy as well as constitutional reforms.
At least 24 people have been killed and about 1,000 others injured during the crackdown.
Earlier in the month, a widely-circulated video showed forces shooting an unarmed, middle-aged man twice at close range, despite the victim's not seeming to be posing any threat to them.
Ibrahim Mattar, a former member of the country's largest opposition group Al Wefaq said on Monday, "We have around 250 confirmed arrested and 44 who are missing, though that number fluctuates when people reappear after hiding from police."
