Ayr Sign 2 Rising Stars

Ayr United showed their greatest intent of future proofing their team by signing two of the rising stars from the Acadamy ranks.

Midfielders Robbie Crawford and Sean Kelly have both been signed on (?) year contracts with the AUFC senior squad and hope to pushing the senior players for squad spots very shortly.

Robbie, 17 and Sean, 16 were humbled by the attention being plied on them at the signing ceremony attended by Manager Brian Reid, Head of Youth Davie White and Head of Ayr United Operations(?) Tracy McTrusty.

Brian Reid said of the players, "This is the future of Ayr United, this is the way our club must go and these guys fit the bill perfectly. They are a brilliant addition to our squad and they will be pushing others in the team for places."

Head of Youth, Davie White was ecstatic with the signings, saying "This is a great move by Ayr United and for the players involved. They have worked hard and have just received what they always dreamed of, being a professional footballer. These two guys signing for Ayr shows what huge strides the Academy has made and makes everything we do here worthwhile. Congratulations to both players!"
